Description | The University of New England College of Dental Medicine invites applications for half-time (0.8 FTE) non-tenure clinical track positions in General/Restorative Dentistry at the Assistant Clinical Professor or Associate Clinical Professor rank, dependent upon experience and credentials.

Responsibilities | The general dentistry faculty member will serve in the Department of Restorative & Clinical Sciences. Primary responsibilities will include pre-clinical didactic and simulation instruction and curriculum development; mentoring pre-doctoral students; after-hours emergency call coverage (by rotation); and participation in college, university, and community service. Clinical instruction is also expected.
Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Interviews of qualified candidates will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. The position start date is 6/1/2024.
Qualifications | Qualified candidates must possess a D.D.S./D.M.D. degree, or international equivalent and have successfully completed the NBDE Parts I & II or the INBDE. By the position start date, the candidate must have active Maine Board of Dental Practice licensure (full/faculty).
