This portfolio contributes to Western Sydney University’s success in the higher education environment by enhancing the University’s suite of quality educational products and partnerships. This work supports a whole-of-university approach to planning and managing product offerings, program quality and educational compliance across our campus network, our extensive range of programs with professional accreditation and pathway offerings.
About the RoleThe Quality and Reviews Officer is an essential member of the Education Quality and Policy team, within the Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Educational Partnerships and Quality.
A key priority for this position is the analysis of data and consolidation of information for annual quality reports on the University’s Third Party Providers, and related matters of quality assurance across the University and its educational partners. The position is responsible for benchmarking institutional and sector quality assurance, review and continuous improvement practices and making recommendations on education quality enhancements to the portfolio and other internal stakeholders and committees, to inform decision making and positive change. This position works closely with other members of the Education Quality & Policy team to identify opportunities for educational quality enhancement and project manages associated initiatives. The role also provides high-level support to the Manager, Reviews for cyclic institutional review activities.
Skill/ExperienceTo be successful in the role you will have good analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to analyse and manage data in excel files, draft reports commenting on the data, and provide advice on actions to be taken. In addition, a high level of oral and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with senior staff in a professional manner, are essential to the role.
This is a full-time, fixed term position until 31 December 2024 based at Penrith (Kingswood) Campus with hybrid work options.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 7 $117,645 to $126,892 p.a. (comprising Salary of $99,411 to $107,225 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
