The Role
This role is responsible for effective account and program management of the Executive Education division of the School of Business and Law. Executive Education is an industry facing division of the School, which aims to nurture long-standing, top-tier partnerships to develop, customise and deliver skills-based outcomes through the delivery of courses and workshops aligned to the School’s expertise in both research and teaching and learning.
The Executive Education Program Officer will work with the Manager Executive Education to identify and address opportunities to provide courses and workshops aligned to the School, and which address industry relevant skills and capabilities. The primary objective of this role is to manage the client base and facilitators involved in the delivery of Executive Education programs, maintain routine administrative and communication functions and to be a first point of contact for queries related to the administration of this critical area. The role requires a well organised, personable and enthusiastic team member who is able to coordinate and manage their time across multiple activities, often at once, in a professional setting.
Selection Criteria
- Experience in providing high-level administrative support within a large organisation;
- High-level ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders;
- Ability to organise and present information, views and concepts in a concise, understandable and interesting format for a variety of audiences;
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and outcomes by showing initiative and commitment towards the completion of predetermined objectives;
- Demonstrated high level of skills in using standard software and database packages, including MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Adobe Pro in particular document formatting and collation;
- Demonstrated ability to manage ECU’s learning management system (Canvas) and Try Booking, or an interest to learn new software platforms is essential.
- Experience providing high-level customer service across a range of tasks and duties;
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work;
- Undergraduate qualification in a relevant field would be an advantage.
- Experience and knowledge of website management (in particular WordPress) would be desirable, but not mandatory. (The successful applicant will need to learn and become adept at this program.)

These positions attract remuneration of $78,854 - $87,624 plus up to 17% University superannuation contribution.
