Responsibilities

  • Opportunities exist in our School of Nursing, Paramedicine and Healthcare Sciences as Research Associate working closely with the Research Project Chief Investigator on various areas of research being conducted by the school.

Requirements

  • Completion of an honours level degree; or, at least half way through a Master of Philosophy in a relevant health field without subsequent relevant work experience as a graduate upon appointment; or at least 2 years’ subsequent relevant work experience as a research associate.
  • Demonstrated ability to support research project development and implementation.
  • High level communication skills, including excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; effective interpersonal skills appropriate for engaging with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Proven effective record keeping skills (both paper and electronic), including the ability to work accurately and with excellent attention to detail.
