About the College of Business Government and Law:

The College of Business, Government and Law are currently seeking innovative and passionate applicants who can make a meaningful contribution to our dynamic accounting degree for the position of Lecturer in Accounting (Level B).
About the Role:
As the Lecturer in Accounting, you will deliver excellence in teaching and learning across the suite of Accounting and related topics in the College of Business, Government and Law. Your role will be integral in the creation, coordination, and implementation of inspired teaching that focuses on topical accounting topics, including fintech, ESG/CSR reporting, across all levels and modes of the College. You will bring your expertise and industry knowledge to review, develop, and design curricula and courses in step with other higher education global leaders, so graduates are equipped with the skills required for success in the knowledge economy. You will deliver a richly interactive and student-focused approach to learning, by engaging with e-learning platforms, and applying innovative teaching practices and technologies.
In this role, you will also:
- Independently contribute to maintaining internal and external compliance and accreditation of courses.
- Make an independent contribution to high-quality university, professional and community service.
About You
With your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, you will maintain strong relationships with diverse staff, students, and industry stakeholders. Your natural ability to collaborate and engage with relevant external professional domains, will develop productive partnerships that can provide opportunities to students and promote graduate employability. With your comprehensive knowledge of industry needs, and demonstrated experience in tertiary teaching, you will harness your high-quality written communication skills to develop curricula, and coordinate topics. Your keen attention to detail will allow you to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines while always demonstrating a commitment to high quality service delivery.
The successful candidate will also have a PhD, or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
