Sessional Academics - School of Design
The School of Design is looking to establish a pool of Sessional Academics who can support with learning and teaching across a broad range of study areas in the
Bachelor of Design
- Fashion
- Industrial Design
- Interaction Design
- Visual Communication
- Impact Labs & Foundation Units (Impact Labs and Foundation units are taught in the first year of the degree and cross all four disciplines. Applicants must have experience in Transdisciplinary teaching and be interested in either Design Fabrication/Design Visualisation/Design Consequence/Emerging Design Technologies/Design ideation for place and context/society and systems)

Successful applicants will have the following:
- Minimum of an undergraduate degree in an area relevant to Design
- Relevant and current industry experience
- Experience of teaching and/or assessing skills
- Demonstrate a willingness to undertake an induction to QUT and complete mandatory on-line training as required for all staff at QUT.
Additional Information
Successful applicants may be contacted by Unit Coordinators and provided with semester based sessional teaching contracts that match your profile. Your resume will remain on file for 12 months.
Sessional contracts should only be accepted if the appointee is confident that they have the capacity to complete the appointed hours.
