The Faculty of Health is dedicated to being at the forefront of teaching, learning, creativity, social development, and groundbreaking research and discovery. We work closely with industry partners and government bodies to translate discoveries into real-word impact. This role will specifically be working within the School of Psychology.
The Senior Lecturer, Education-focused Academic will lead unit and course teaching teams in UG and/or PG programs to improve the student learning experience and outcomes. The position will lead growing, increasingly productive, high-quality scholarship and creative activities generating high impact outputs.
The Education-focused Academic will engage in and increasingly develop and lead academic or other collaborations that enable novel and high-quality teaching methodologies in the organisational psychology discipline area. This Level C Lecturer position within the Master of Psychology (Organisational) program will have a strong teaching and learning focus. The successful candidate will have experience in post graduate unit chairing and teaching in organisational psychology programs focused on competency-based learning and assessment. They will be required to supervise master’s level theses and demonstrate scholarly teaching practices in the discipline of organisational psychology. The applicant must be registered with AHPRA as a psychologist, have an endorsement in organisational psychology and Psychology Board of Australia supervisor status.
This position is suited to a person with an emerging record and passion for learning and teaching, a keen interest in contributing to community engagement for teaching and employability.
