You will ensure the smooth operation and functioning of the Indigenous and Transcultural Research Centre (ITRC) and to support the work of the two Co-Directors of the ITRC in securing grant funding and in operating the ITRC. You will deliver strategic advice and recommendations to the Directors relating to the governance and management of the Centre including governance protocols, and regulatory, legislative and compliance requirements to inform high-level decision-making in relation to operations and financial performance. You will also provide high-level research program and project management expertise for the development, implementation and monitoring of new and existing projects.
You possess a high level of social and cultural awareness, particularly in collaborating with First Nations and transcultural communities. With exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills, you excel at collaborating and communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Your ability to negotiate, influence, and build rapport, combined with a proactive approach to conflict resolution, ensures successful outcomes.
In addition to your strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, you have excellent written communication skills. You are adept at developing and delivering content across various print and digital platforms, including websites, social media, and reports. Furthermore, you effectively present information in person, whether through workshops, educational seminars, or conference presentations, engaging diverse audiences with ease.
