Base Salary: $111,154 - $124,619 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 8)
Location: Based at our Translational Research Institute – Dutton Park
The primary purpose of this position is to provide strategic and operational support to the Children’s Brain Cancer Centre’s research activities. This position will work closely with the Co-Directors & Management Team to manage the strategic growth and objectives of the research program and key partnerships for the Centre. This position leads all operational business functions, including finance; human resources; postgraduate student administration; resource management; workplace health and safety; and research administration including management of ethics and governance compliance, and grant management and reporting.
The Research Manager/Program Manager works closely with Chief Investigator/s and their research teams to identify, develop, implement and improve outcomes of Children's Brain Cancer Centre.

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Research Program/Project Manager to manage the successful delivery of the outcomes of the Children's Brain Cancer Centre. The successful candidate will have significant experience and expertise in research management in a hospital and/or University setting.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including: right to work in Australia, criminal check.
