Oversee the strategic and operational direction of the Regional Training Hub programs, focusing on enhancing the rural health workforce in Victoria by developing training pathways, supporting career development, and fostering community engagement.
Lead a team dedicated to creating a sustainable rural health workforce in the Goulburn Valley, supporting junior doctors and final year students.

The Manager, Regional Training Hub at the Department of Rural Health plays a crucial role in enhancing the rural health workforce in Victoria.
Based in Shepparton, this position is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Regional Training Hub, developing and implementing training programs aimed at attracting, retaining, and developing medical students and junior doctors in the Goulburn Valley region.
The role involves extensive collaboration with local health services, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to support medical training integration and develop rural training pathways, while embodying the values of collaboration, respect, and integrity.
You will possess postgraduate qualifications or extensive relevant experience, demonstrating exceptional communication skills and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Your role will require a high level of accountability and reliability, with a proven ability to establish and nurture effective relationships across various levels, ensuring you follow through on commitments and engage collaboratively to solve problems and improve processes.

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University.
