We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as the Respectful Relationships Project Officer.
The Respectful Relationships program sits within the Equity and Diversity team. This team fosters an inclusive and equitable environment where every individual is valued, respected and empowered to succeed. The Respectful Relationships program delivers whole-of-university initiatives aimed at preventing gendered violence, informing students and staff of supports and reporting options available to those experiencing gendered violence, and building capacity within the University community to respond effectively to disclosures of gendered violence.
The purpose of this position is to lead and implement, high impact approaches to preventing gendered violence, including sexual harm, within the University. The role involves developing and delivering appropriate response and support mechanisms for disclosures of gendered violence by students and staff, with a strong emphasis on gender equity as a key factor in prevention. The Project Officer will work collaboratively with external partners to help the University achieve its goals in raising awareness about gendered violence and creating effective preventative interventions.
The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications, experience in program coordination, and a strong understanding of trauma-informed practices.

HEW Level 7 $117,645 to $126,892 p.a. (comprising Salary of $99,411 to $107,225 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
