Base salary range: $113,934 - $134,824 p.a. or $139,000 - $159,893 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

UWA is launching programmes in Nursing and Midwifery in close collaboration with key industry stakeholders. The University will offer an innovative and flexible programme of undergraduate and postgraduate courses designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required in a changing and challenging health care environment.
This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the fields of nursing and midwifery, driving societal progress and shaping future healthcare professionals. Under the leadership of the Head of Nursing and Midwifery, you will play a key role in course development, curriculum delivery, and research focused on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health. Working closely with Course Directors, you will develop innovative teaching methods, assessments, and course materials.
Your responsibilities will encompass all activities within nursing and midwifery, emphasizing collaboration, capacity building, and advancing cross-disciplinary research and teaching. Additionally, you will strengthen existing partnerships and explore new ones with internal and external stakeholders, including Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations, on both national and international levels.
You are an experienced nursing or midwifery professional with a strong background in Aboriginal Health. With a tertiary qualification or equivalent experience, you are registered or eligible for registration with the NMBA through AHPRA and have over 5 years of post-registration experience.
You are highly experienced in Aboriginal health education. Your commitment to research and community engagement is evident through your work with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations and other stakeholders.
