The School of Chemical Engineering at UNSW is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to join their research team. This role offers the chance to enhance your research skills by working on specific projects related to blast furnace modelling. In this role your research will focus on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and heat and mass balance (HMB) modelling of low-carbon blast furnace ironmaking.
This position will give you the opportunity to develop your scholarly research and professional activities both nationally and internationally through your contributions to the writing of scientific papers and reports for international journals, your participation in conferences and workshops, supervising HDR students, and your active engagement with industry partners.
This role reports to Prof. Yansong Shen with no direct reports.
Salary: Level A - $110,059 to $117,718 per annum + 17% superannuation
