The Division of Operations and Commercial at Western is responsible for strategic planning, end to end project delivery, and the maintenance of the University’s built environment, properties, and commercial activities. Through close collaboration with all areas of the University, the Division ensures that our campuses and properties are developed and maintained to support world-class learning, teaching, and research. At the same time, it strives to preserve and enhance the unique aesthetics of our campuses.
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Manager, Project Delivery, to lead our Capital Program team. You will be instrumental in delivering complex capital works programs that align with the University’s strategic objectives. You will collaborate closely with senior and executive leaders, providing strategic insights, fostering a culture of innovation, and ensuring that resources are effectively managed to meet the demands of project delivery.
You will manage key projects, overseeing budgets, procurement, and the implementation of best practices in safety and risk compliance. Building strong relationships with senior management and stakeholders will be essential as you guide our projects from initiation to successful completion.
You are a dynamic and accomplished leader with relevant qualifications and extensive experience in large, complex organisations. You have a proven track record of delivering large programs and projects, demonstrating excellence at both strategic and operational levels. Your deep expertise in contract administration allows you to make informed decisions that drive successful project outcomes.
Your leadership skills are exceptional, enabling you to manage multiple teams and resources with confidence and effectively. You possess strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication abilities, which empower you to navigate complex situations and build strong, lasting relationships. In high-pressure environments, your organisational skills and experience in project management ensure that projects meet and exceed quality, budget, and timeline goals.
